About T.R.U.E An Overview
Since 1989, T.R.U.E. Research Foundation has worked as a partner with the military medical community to enhance medical research and education for the Advancement of Military Medicine. T.R.U.E. plays an integral role in a variety of projects ranging from basic research in the laboratory setting to managing clinical trials at military medical centers.
T.R.U.E. advances the goals of military medicine by:
- Conducting important medical research programs in conjunction with medical researchers
- Promoting private-public partnerships to enhance medical research, education, and health care
- Enhancing military medical education through the support of unique training programs
- Delivering quality services to the military medical community
T.R.U.E. supports research and education at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), its four teaching hospitals, and Military Institutes and Medical Treatment Facilities across the country.

T.R.U.E. Research Foundation is a Not-for Profit Corporation established in 1986 as a process to administer funds that are used by the Military Community in fostering clinical research, promoting public-private partnerships, offering continuing medical education to the Military Community, providing administrative services for symposiums and seminars and providing other services as needed.
